Originally from a small town in Wyoming, I moved to Denver, Colorado in 1977. I am a graduate of Regis University in Denver, Colorado where I obtained both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Counseling Psychology.

As a teenager, I became interested in what makes people "tick". This interest grew into my fascination of psychology which eventually lead me to go to college and obtain my degrees so that I can help people in the best way that I know how.

I am a former board member for the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB) and a member of the American Counseling Association. I am also a member of the Colorado Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota and Phi Theta Kappa.
